Why is this pain is happening in the first place?
Everyone knows that our body is composed of 75% water and 25% solid matter. There are millions of activities our body performs every day and most of them need water. We are substituting water with tea, coffee, energy drink, ice tea, and alcohol. When the body sent a thirst signal, we often end up drinking everything except water, at least most of the time. The more of these beverages you consume, the more dehydrated your body becomes.
The lack of hydration in the body cause pain. In response to the lack of water, our brain activates the neurotransmitter (histamine). This neurotransmitter is responsible for distributing the water in the body where it is needed. When the histamine is not able to distribute the water because of dehydration, the pain-sensing nerves trigger a strong and continual pain. These pain signals may result in rheumatoid, angina, low back pain, fibromyalgia, and migraine. Taking an over-the-counter painkiller for a prolonged period can interrupt the neurotransmitter. In addition to jeopardizing the water-regulating mechanisms, these painkillers become ineffective because the brain takes over as a direct center for monitoring pain perpetuation. The most recently documented and widely popularized side effects of pain killers, such as Vioxx, Celebrex, and the over-the-counter drug Aleve (Naproxen), should tell you that there are no safe painkillers. These drugs were found to increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes by at least 50 percent.
